Do I need to download or install anything?

Which browsers does it work in?
Emberdeck is built and tested for Chrome and Edge on a desktop or laptop. It needs WebGL and WebAssembly, which current versions of most desktop browsers support.
Can I play on my phone or tablet?
Not yet. The game is designed for a mouse or trackpad and a laptop-sized screen.
How are my runs saved?

Why sign in with Google?
Signing in keeps a copy of your saves on our server, so you can carry on from another computer or after clearing your browser. It is optional. The game works fully without it.
What do you store when I sign in?
Your save data and the basic account details needed to match it to you. The privacy page has the full list.
How many heroes are there?
Six. Warrior, Monk and Druid are available from the start. The Sootveil, Stormherald and Cairnwarden unlock once you reach Act 2 on any run.
How many cards are there?
There are 324 cards across the six heroes. The card library lists every one with its cost and rules text.
